Many times in revival we are only looking for the spiritual impact it can have on an area. I believe God wants to give economic revival as well as a Spiritual Move of His Spirit.
Our home area has been severely impacted by the textile industry’s outsourcing of jobs to other countries. Poverty, unemployment, and threatened more layoffs have really depressed this area of East Alabama and West Central Georgia.
Last Sunday night local time Kia Motors signed an contract with the State of Georgia to bring a 1.2 billion dollar Car Manufacturing plant three miles from where I live. This was not only a reward for a lot of hard work by state, county and local officials, but it was also an answer to prayer from the good people of our area that God would somehow open the windows of heaven and pour out on us blessings we couldn’t receive!
What’s even more interesting is the fact that Kia is from Seoul, South Korea, home of the worlds largest Full Gospel Church, Yoida Full Gospel Church and Pastor David Cho.
It wouldn’t suprise me at all if God not only sent an economic revival in the form of a much better paying industry this area has ever seen in it’s history; but that God would also send the Valley area some of Dr. Cho’s people to lead this area in the greatest move of God’s Spirit this area has ever seen it it’s history!
Surely with 800,000 members, some of them must work for Kia?
Bring it on Holy Ghost!
Hey David…
I was thinking about that the other night at work. It would be nice if some of Dr Cho’s people came over.
