The first night of the Piney Camp meeting in Wytheville Virginia got off to a great start!
Each year the first week of August, many Pentecostal Holiness Churches as well as other churches in the region come together for seven days of worship and the Word. The altar filled with people seeking the fire of God to be restored in their lives. It was youth night and the young people of the area took advantage of it.
To me, it’s a little closer to the fulfillment of Jesus’ prayer in John 17 that we would become one even as He and the Father are one. It’s a blessing when you can get nine churches to do anything together, much lees call off their services for an entire week to come together to worship God!
To me, this is a taste of real revival!
