Rarely do I post words I feel God gives me on the internet. But while in prayer on Wednesday in preparation to minister last night I felt the Holy Spirit speak three simple things into my spirit:
1. Another attack on the U.S. is imminent. Because of that the Church in America needs a baptism of love. Tongues are wonderful, I speak in them all the time! But if our ministry, our speaking in tongues, our prophesy is not birthed out of love, it’s sounding brass and tinkling cymbals. But also, if we pray, I am convinced the attack will either be severely hindered or completely stopped; which is the best thing.
2. It’s time that all our understanding and teaching on spiritual warfare be put into practice. The weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds…we are not hear to fight people groups, but satan and his pinions. For the last twenty years we have heard teaching after teaching, after teaching…it’s time to put in practice what we’ve learned!
3. Understand the cycles of God as well as the cycles satan moves in. It seems the Holy Ghost moves with a tremdous move on the earth every 80 years…if that is so, it’s been 100 years since the Auzusa St. Outpouring. We are past due!
Thank God for the pockets of revival that have taken place in the last ten years; but there is more God wants to do on this earth!

I though about this word the last couple of days. Do you think that the london airline thing that went down last week was what you were hearing about? also, There is lots of talk about the 22nd of August.
What do you think?
One more thing, do you not think that the Brownsville/Toronto/Lakeland/Smithton events of the late 80s early 90s covers the every eighty years timeframe?
I am looking for more but if there is a schedule, do you think that those moves fall into that pattern?
I truly believe those are (were) moves of God…but I wonder if there were on the magnitude of Azuza? Some believe they were….but I feel like there is more and something greater God wants to send that will make Brownsville look like a VBS.
As for the London plot, I don’t know….all I know is I heard the Lord say another attck is eminent. But the Spirit emphasized the intercessors hold the key…I believe we can stop it through continued intercession.
As for the 22nd, that will be a defining moment. Islam promotes itself in being a peaceful religion, but we know they want to rule the world and they will do what they have to even use force. (or terror)
Interesting thought on the 80 year cycle. I am grateful for the Brownsville/Lakeland/Toronto/Smithton outpourings. I believe they were demonstrations of the Father’s heart for His children. It was a manifestation of His person to reveal His love and to establish a different foundation within His children - one based on love - as opposed to the religious foundations that so many of His children (us) experienced when they joined God’s family. However, there is something more definite that is on the Holy Spirit’s agenda concerning the United States, and preparation in His people is the first evidence of that agenda. There must be a love relationship first, or rather, relationship experienced in love. So, those outpourings were limited in scope because of their function. I do see a national revival on the horizon that will someday be called another “Great Awakening;” however, it may come in the midst of upheaval, turmoil, and chaos. And, it will probably look different than the “awakenings” of the past. Authentic Christianity will bring persecution. Thus, I believe it is important to distance oneself from distraction and business to the best of one’s ability, and to find the arms of Jesus. Preparation for the pressure that will come with the next “Great Awakening” cannot be found in service, task accomplishment, or theological training - but in cherishing and nourishing one’s present relationship with Jesus. Persecution steels the resolve and unites the family of God … but those who overcome the leisure and busyness of a time of peace to find the arms of Jesus are highly esteemed in Heaven, because they have overcome personal comfort to be with the One they love.

When you read the Book of Acts, it’s obvious the Outpouring also brought with it a persecution most Americans (maybe even myself) could not endure. I want God to touch me in such a way that not matter what happens, I can stand for Him. It’s one thing to say it during a time of peace, but would we do it whaen everything turns south?
I saw on the news just last night an islamic iman from Great Britan who was being interviewed…you should have seen the anger, and the reslove to destroy both Britan and the U.S. in his face and his voice…we ARE in the midst of a holy war!
