Carpe Digital

Posted on Thursday 7 September 2006

Just a week of catching up and exploring new territory…I have actually been able to catch up on a lot of correspondence I’ve needed to do. Being on the road all the time has it’s advantages as well as challenges!
Pam and I both joined myspace. Like I need another hobby. I see it as another way of bringing revival to our culture. Mark Batterson calls it Carpe Digital. I don’t think Jesus would have constantly complained about what was on the internet…I believe He would have used it to win people to the Kingdom!

I also want to thank Rich Tatum, Carl Thomas, Mark Hadfield in England (I mean Scotland, sorry Mark:), Tom Goetze in Denmark for linking us or adding us to their blogs. Click their names to go to their sites. It will be blessed reading!

Thanks David. One minor point: I’m actually in Scotland (though I am English). Boy, do I look forward to the day when it will all be one earthly kingdom, as it already is in heaven :-D

Mark - What’s funny is that you made the distinction between scotland and england. Is that not the same place?

David - Sent you a MySpace Invite

    Carl - you’re joking right?

UK = Great Britain = England + Scotland + Wales + Northern Ireland

Each member country of the UK is fiercely (sometimes unhealthily) proud of their different heritage and culture.

Sorry Mark. Believe it or not my lineage on my father’s side is all that you mentioned. To folks on this side of the pond Scotland, Wales, Paris, Moscow . . . all the same place.

You do realize that the USA is the center of the world, right?

    ;)
