Tuesday Thoughts

Posted on Tuesday 5 December 2006

Wow,what a whirl wind! But this is what I asked for!

The weekend services ended great! We had a wonderful service Saturday night in Samson at New Life Worship Center, then to Clayton, Alabama for services at First Assembly. God moved in a very special way!

I just found out about 30 minutes ago (as I write this) a dear Pastor friend of mine died the week before Thanksgiving, and nobody called me about it until tonight. This man was very instrumental in me being in a Full Gospel Church today. When Pam and I first moved to Lanett 22 years ago, he was the first person to my door to welcome me to the city! And I was a Baptist and he was Assembly of God! And please don’t missunderstand: I’m not hurt at people who I thought were my friends not calling me as I am stunned back into reality at how quickly people can be taken from you before you have time to say good-bye.

Life is very fragile and very precious! Take the time today to call someone you haven’t spoken to in a while and let them know you are thinking of them…write an e-mail, send a little card…you never know when someone who means something to you will be taken away!
