Guyana Christmas Trip

Posted on Monday 11 December 2006

We are leaving this morning headed to the interior of Guyana South America to distribute rice and beans to the Amerindian villages in the northwest territory of the country.

Thank you, thank you, thank you to everyone who came though financially for this project! This is the first time we have tried this so close to Christmas, and people have been very generous to help us supply these people with a gift they will remember for ever. Though the gift won’t last forever, the memories of people who cared to sacrifice so others could eat will!

Please pray for God’s Divine protection over us, favor with all the necessary authorities, pray for our boats and engines as these are the only means of transportation in the interior, and pray for salvations and an outpouring of God’s Spirit to continue along those rivers.

I will try to blog on Tuesday, then again Saturday or Sunday, whenever I can possibly find an internet connection. Most of the trip I will have to blog about when I return next Monday night.

Bon Voyage!
