God is continuing to call His people back to intimacy with Him! Any and all ministry that does not flow out of intimacy with Him is going to crumble, or become so ineffective it stops on it’s own!
I was looking at the story of Absalom again this afternoon and noticed 2 Samuel 18:18 states Absalom raised a pillar in his own name because he had no son to carry on his name. Chapter 14:27 states he had three sons and one daughter…
Scholars believe Absalom’s children died in infancy or even at birth, thus the reason for the pillar. Could this signify, the spirit of Absalom is also a barren spirit or produces a fatherless attitude (spirit) in the hearts of people?
