Thanks David for being the real deal. I still believe in the midst of the mess that the best days are ahead of us. For the ones that fall there are many that we never hear about who are faithful and just want to serve the Lord without any strings attached. I also am reminded that God love the ones that falll just as much as he loves me. He truly is a merciful God.

Jesus certainly didn't use a pr firm from New York City!

I have thought seriously of even resigning my AG credentials for that very reason!

But as with every great move of God, it always comes through the most unlikely of vessels; vessels totally submitted to Him and not to a machine! Thanks slw!

Mark,

"showing God and the world we do not believe our press releases any more!"

It is irksome to me that we ever started using press clippings in the first place! Could you see Jesus greasing the wheels of his image that way? The birds have come back to roost! When we substitute flesh, and worldliness for Spirit, power and humility what else could be expected? Sometimes I wonder if the next revival wouldn't better be entrusted to children and non-ministers who don't have stars in their eyes and egos the size of Texas. Sorry for the rant, David, this got me going!

We certainly need revival, but I fear we may not be prepared for the strange course it may have to take.

Well I'm glad you wrote it. Because I certainly don't have it all and I need that reminder too.

Thanks for posting.
