Churches Working Together In Revival

Posted on Wednesday 7 November 2007

It is a tremendous blessing to me and a signal that God is up to something very big when a church will cancel not one service, but two services to join in with another church for revival meetings!

Such was the case as Millennium World Outreach in Wytheville Virginia canceled their Sunday night services and their Wednesday night service to join us in the revival at Jackson Chapel Church of God of Prophecy in Wytheville. I thank Pastors Kent and Dinah Lewis for the Kingdom desire they have to give up their regular schedule to see another church in their own town (just a couple of miles away) be blessed!

Again, every night the anointing kept increasing; people were touched by His Power and that’s all I want to see!

The pastors in this area don’t see what I see: there is a unity among quite a number of the Spirit Filled Pastors in this area of Virginia I have never seen anywhere else in the United States! In fact there is only one other pastor I know personally that would cancel his services to go be with another church, and that’s Brad Morgan in Pattison Texas. I’m not trying to start a war or offend anyone, but it’s hard for us to let go of our schedule and our agenda to see our brother encouraged and his flock increased, because we have so many needs in our local body ourselves! But God will reward both of them with a great outpouring of His Spirit, which I believe began tonight!

The great blessing is these two churches are from two different denominations.

Look out devil.

Look out Wytheville!

If we learn to work together not only will the other work be better but God will do things in your church that you as a local pastpr can not do. In 2006 God told me that it was not about my church but about the body of Christ is the area I live in. God led me to partner with an African American pastor to help him finish an expansion on his building. This year we have had the best year financially since we started. There is also a wonderful unity in our church that we did not have before. I also had a wonderful depth to a relationship with an African American Pastor that I did not have before. He has preached in my church and I have preached in his. These are great days.
