Pastor Jack : "When you Identify the river you need to follow it up stream instead of just going with the current."

I saw one of those slogans on a t-shirt once that said " Only dead fish go with the flow ". We've got to do what Pastor Jack said...Follow up stream.

When you Identify the river you need to follow it up stream instead of just going with the current. At the rivers orgin you will find the 5 fold ministries of the church as well as the figts of the Holy Spirit and His help ministries. All of these help the current of the river to flow and keep the body(the church) free from stagnation. So along with you "let the river flow".

Sometimes we'd rather join the Army Corps of Engineers (the river inspectors) than discover our own stream and refresh the army of God by it. I have to admit, there are some streams that seem a bit wormwoody to me, but if we can't let anyone else be different than ourselves, where would the body be? I trust God will make your stream powerful and fruitful, how could that be anything but good for all the other streams?

Part of it....no, all of it is a maturity that is needed in our lives to accept who we are...and then if people don't accept us, God give us the maturity to move on without their affirmation!

Let The River FLOW!!!

I totally agree with you on this. You do see sometimes in ministry people to try to become someone elses river in a way. To find themselves failing. I also believe ministers that become ministers to be known will never make it. You don't go into the ministry to become famous but to do God's will. I think when you truely humble your self a persons river is able to grow and flow like it should. Do God's will and not yours and you can't do wrong. Be Blessed in All things. Can't wait to hear what God is doing in your ministry.
