Amerindian Prayer For Troubled Times

Posted on Saturday 20 December 2008

I promise I am working on a recap of our Kenya Trip. I fell like I have been in a coma since we returned…I’m getting my bearings a little! Coffee and sleep do wonders for massive jet lag!

As I have been cleaning up and moving into our new office space today, I came across an Amerindian Prayer I jotted down on a recent trip to Guyana. I don’t know the author, but it speaks a word of peace in these troubled times…

The world is in a lot of trouble Lord. People everywhere are going through really hard times. They need your help! Help me to live on the high place where I can better see things the way You do. Please use my life. Let me be like the waterfalls. Let me pour out to others what You give to me. Help me every day to spend time with You in my secret place. Make my spirit man powerful so I don’t spend my life limping and struggling. I want to spend my life filled with Your strength to help others.
