<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>We are currently in the middle of our 4th Annual Friends and Partners Cruise. The Holy Spirit has visited us in every service, and we have also had a wonderful time of relaxing, something I don’t get to do very often! Brad Morgan, you would be proud of me!</p>
<p>An African-American minister from Atlanta who joined us for one of the meetings was greatly ministered to, and told me if the word was for no on else, the cruise was worth it just for him!</p>
<p>Ministers are under a tremendous attack today; and one thing most ministers are not able to do is come aside and rest. My prayer for Revival Now Ministries is that we will not only be a soul winning organization, but that we would be a ministry that is able to minister effectively to pastors all over the world!</p>
<p>Plans are already underway for our annual Friends and Partners Cruise for May 25-29, 2009. For more information, email me at <script type="text/javascript"><!--

<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>WOW! God is moving in Pascagoula Mississippi! and He didn&#8217;t even need a squirrel to make it happen! (see Ray Stevens)</p>
<p>There were at least 8 people who gave their lives to Jesus during the morning service and more on Sunday night! I was out on the floor worshiping God during the night service so I was in no shape to count!</p>
<p>After the Morning service at least 5 people were baptized in water! In fact 65 people have been baptized in water at <a href="http://clife.cc">CLI</a> since the first of the year! I would say, that&#8217;s revival!</p>
<p><a href="http://clife.cc" target="_blank">Christian Life International</a> is sponsoring <a href="http://http://www.clife.cc/302644.ihtml">The Great Awakening Conference</a> May 18-22, 2008. Speakers will include Pastor Eric Camp, Kent Maddox, Paul Keith Davis and Steven Shelley. For more information go to <a href="http://clife.cc">http://clife.cc</a>. I encourage you if you are in 250 miles of Pascagoula to go! You WILL be blessed!</p>
<p>Thanks Pastors Eric and Toni Camp for your partnership! God is  the move in Mississippi!</p>

<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>While I praise God for all He has allowed Pam and I to see the first four months of this year, I think it is fitting to take a moment on this National Day of Prayer and focus on need for repentance for our entire nation!</p>
<p>2Ch 7:13  If I shut up heaven that there be no rain, or if I command the locusts to devour the land, or if I send pestilence among my people;<br />
2Ch 7:14  If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.</p>
<p>This is STILL a right now word for the American Church!</p>
<p>I am fully aware America is not perfect; the American Church is no where near what she should be or could be; may I remind you she is not what she is going to be!</p>
<p>I have surfed around many websites criticizing and attempting correct many people&#8217;s doctrine and the way the run their ministries. Let me state emphatically we must contend for CORRECT, sound doctrine when it comes to Christianity! But if we would focus on 2 Chronicles 7:13 and 14, the Holy Ghost would bring the correction to us without someone have to be the scripture police!</p>
<p>I had what I would call a mini vision a couple of years ago while in Bedford Indiana at Tabernacle of Praise. While in the prayer room for pre-service prayer, The Holy Spirit showed me two streams merging together and becoming one larger river. The Lord showed me one stream represented the Pentecostal move; it has always been known for strong preaching, experiencing the Baptism in the Holy Spirit and integrity of the scriptures. The other stream represented the Charismatic move; it has been known for strong worship, teaching of the Word and experiencing the supernatural. While there has been extreme legalism at times on one side, and extreme goofiness at times of the other; God wants to bring a merging of the streams together that will bring a balance to the Spirit Filled movement of today!</p>
<p>As we pray for our country today (and every day for that matter), may we seek God to raise up the leaders He desires us to have; may they have a heart for God and the things of God; and if they do not currently have that, may our Father give that to them! May God raise up people of integrity and honor both in every facet of the political realm as well and may God give us apostles, prophets, evangelists pastors and teachers after HIS HEART and not after THEIR carnal agenda!!</p>

<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Services last night at <a href="http://topministries.us"><strong>Tabernacle of Praise</strong></a> was powerful! Jeff Nikirk and the Praise team allowed God to use them to literally bring the Glory down!</p>
<p>The altars were fill with hungry hearts crying out to God! As I was preparing for church, I was overcome with such a broken heart over the lack of hunger for God in people&#8217;s hearts; even at times my own! I can honestly say though, I am hungrier for God thatn I have even been in my life!</p>
<p>When you lack a genuine hunger for God, you despise to worship, you get agitated by what seems to be an over emphasis on prayer and worship; a lack of hunger for God will cause you to feel prideful about your walk with God, and even the ministry God has given you!</p>
<p><strong>The level of humility we are willing to walk in determines the level of anointing we will carry!</strong></p>
<p>James 4:10 says to humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord and He will lift you up.</p>
<p>I Peter 5:6 says to humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God that He may exalt you in due time.</p>
<p>The question is: Is your hunger only bringing you to within <strong>sight</strong> of Jesus?</p>
<p>Or is your hunger for God motivating you to get yourself <strong>underneath His hand</strong>?</p>
<p><strong>I want His hand to rest mightily on me! </strong></p>

<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>My friend <a href="http://americanpentecost.wordpress.com">James Smith</a> has an opportunity to travel to Kenya East Africa beginning June 8th for some meetings planned with a Pastor I personally met when Pam and I were there back in December of 07.</p>
<p>All of you who frequent Revival Journal know I never ask for money. Especially for myself. But God has given us the opportunity and invitation to travel to Kenya both in August and again in December of 2008. We need God to help us raise funds to feed pastors in our upcoming Kenya conferences. But I am not asking this for ourselves or Revival Now Ministries; I am asking each one of the readers of this blog to consider planting a seed into James and Shana&#8217; trip. I am asking this because I know the blessing Pam and I have received from being able to bless the Kenyan people; and I want he and his wife to experience the same blessing! And I am asking this because I know James&#8217; heart is to see a Fresh Pentecost come to America as well as the nations of the world!<br />
<strong>What you make happen for others, God will make happen for you!</strong></p>
<p>Go to <a href="http://americanpentecost.wordpress.com">http://americanpentecost.wordpress.com</a> and make a donation for James Smith&#8217;s Kenya trip. There is a donate button there to click and simply follow the instructions. You will be a partner in the thousands James will reach. And when we get to heaven, you will have someone come up to you and say, &#8220;&#8230;you remember when you gave&#8230;.&#8221;</p>
<p>God bless you James. And God bless our partners and friends as we partner together with other ministries to see the Great Commission fulfilled!</p>

<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Revival has hit our services here in Bedford Indiana we are extending them through Sunday April 27th!</p>
<p>The Holy Spirit continues to amaze me; brooding and hovering over the services and manifesting healings. As the Spirit began to hover over the service tonight, I kept feeling led to take the microphone and call out certain ailments that people needed to be prayed for. God uses me in prophecy and words of knowledge some, but not on a regular basis. Not that I don&#8217;t want to be used that was, because I do! But sometimes I think when the gifts become the main focus, people lose sight of Jesus!</p>
<p>Needless to say people kept coming and coming&#8230;and several gave their lives to Christ in the middle of it all!</p>
<p>Jesus said if He was lifted up, He would draw all me unto Himself!</p>
<p>Thank God for what He is doing in Lakeland Florida! Thank God for what He is doing in Opelika, Alabama&#8230;Bedford Indiana&#8230;thank Him for what He is doing in your church and in your town&#8230;even if you can&#8217;t see the full benefits from it just yet!</p>
<p>Let the fire fall!!!!!!</p>

<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>A wonderful move of the Holy Spirit took place today at Tabernacle of Praise, Bedford Indiana! I know of at least three people who gave their lives to Jesus this morning, with the altars filled both services with people asking Jesus to restore their passion for Him!</p>
<p>God is drawing people from various denomination together to seek Him. Today we had Baptist, Methodists, Catholics, AG, and Full Gospel people all worshiping together! I know this makes people think I trying to be ecumenical; but when the fire of God really begins to burn, denominations burn with it! God will bring the true church together while satan brings the compromised church together&#8230;.</p>
<p>I chose to go with God and His Spirit! I believe it was Jesus Himself who said if He was lifted up, He would draw all men unto Him!</p>

<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>We ended our fourth week of revival services last night at Beauregard Revival Center in Opelika Alabama. The Holy Spirit did not disappoint us!</p>
<p>From the outset the Holy Spirit was pulling people closer to Him even again! When there is such a strong pull of the Spirit for people to come closer to Jesus, it makes me wonder if that is what Enoch felt as he walked with God; and then God took him!</p>
<p>The next thing God does is always greater than the last thing God did! One young lady came to the altar for a migraine headache at the beginning of the service and was healed; came back at the altar call and rededicated her life to Jesus and before she could finish a prayer of repentance was speaking in tongues! Without being coached to do so!</p>
<p>We will begin revival services at Tabernacle of Praise in Bedford Indiana with Pastor Gary Thomas Sunday at 10am &#038; 6pm; Monday and Tuesday at 7pm. If you are shut in and cannot attend services, you can visit the <a href="http://beauregardchurch.org">Beauregard Revival Center</a> website and click the link to <a href="http://beauregardchurch.org/18.html">24/7 streaming video</a> and view the Sunday morning services live from Beauregard Alabama.</p>
<p>And don&#8217;t forget; the next thing God does is always greater than the last thing God did!</p>

<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Our wekend services in Pattison, Texas at New Life Beginnings Church were off the hook as usually! But there was an unusual anointing present also. Because we had a lot of money invested in airline tickets we came to conduct these meetings and will continue at Beauregard Revival Center in Opelika, Alabama tonight beginning at 6pm central time.</p>
<p>We had a group of men come from The Titus Community, a drug and alcohol Teen Challenge type home here, on Saturday night. They were not only a blessing to be around, it was a blessing to minister to them. Several of them were tremendously ministered to by the Lord.</p>
<p>I want to again sincerely thank all the pastors who have worked with us during this extended time of meetings in Alabama. It blesses me to be able to hear pastors release us to follow the Lord in a particular local church. I know as Pastor Larry Barnes Prince Frederick Maryland said to me, &#8220;what I make happen for others, God will make happen for me!&#8221;</p>
<p>Also, if you have any reports of revival breaking out in other parts of the country, please shoot me an email to david at revivalnow.org<br />
Oh Lord, Send the rain of you Spirit to fall upon our thirsty souls!</p>

<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Revival will continue in Beauregard Revival Center in Opelika, Alabama through this Wednesday night. God continues to move powerfully with many backsliders continuing to come back to the Lord. People in the community have heard what God is doing and are falling under conviction! Services begin Monday-Wednesday at 6pm Central time.</p>
<p>For all our friends in the Pattison Texas area, we will be in special revival services at New Life Beginnings Church Saturday night at 6pm and Sunday Morning at 10:30am. We will then immediately fly back to Alabama for services.</p>
<p>One thing that has blessed me through out the last three weeks is the fact we have had a number of churches who have been faithful to support the revival! One church even closed down their normal Sunday night service to bring their people! When we can begin to fulfill Jesus&#8217; prayer in John 17 that we may be one even as He and the Father are one, you know revival IS in the air!</p>
<p>Oh God, send the fire of the Holy Ghost!</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>WOW! Week three stared with a bang!<br />
I can tell you for a fact, Jesus is not dead, He is Risen!</p>
<p>Sunday services at <a href="http://beauregardchurch.org">Beauregard Revival Center</a> were literally off the hook!</p>
<p>Sunday morning there was a sweet manifest anointing that prevailed over the entire service. I ministered out of Psalms 37:37 on The Mark of a Perfect Man. A mark is simply an outline, an impression, a distiquishing characteristic. Because we have heard the Gospel message, we no longer have any excuses! We are marked people!</p>
<p>Before I could even get to my first point, the conviction of the Holy Ghost was so strong, people began to get up and come to the altar to pray! People repented and wept not simply for themselves, but for their loved ones!</p>
<p>Last night the lid came off! I kept sensing all afternoon that God wanted to release a praise in the house. Half way into the second song, the Spirit of God began to move on a couple of people who have been battling in their minds, and they ran forward, without any coaching or priming and began to dance before the Lord! As they did, freedom came sweeping through the congregation setting people free and releasing healing into people’s bodies!</p>
<p>One lady in particular came in with a swollen ankle from a sprain she sustained Sunday afternoon. Got instantly healed her, the swelling went down instantly and she walked all over the sanctuary praising God!</p>
<p>We thought the service had ended when the Holy Ghost decided He wanted to bless the young people and came sweeping through the place as they danced before the Lord for almost an hour, many of them receiving the Baptism in the Holy Spirit, speaking in tongues, worshipping the King! This was particularly encouraging as most of these young people come from broken homes and their parents unsaved.</p>
<p>We are truly a marked people! As was pondering all the arguments over whether or not the whole church of Jesus needs to move to a more seeker-sensitive type service last week when the Spirit of God whispered into my heart and said, “When the real fire of my Spirit comes, the seekers will come too!”</p>
<p>Well that settled it for me!</p>
<p>I’m going after God! If my passion offends you, just get out of the way and let me praise Him because you don’t know what I’ve had to go through to get free!</p>
<p>If my passionate worship offends you, don’t look at me; I’m not worshipping for you, I’m worshipping my King!</p>
<p>Something was broken Saturday from the Call in Montgomery! Racism was dealt with both in the white church as well as in the black church! I also believe a healing for the races was released for Alabama!</p>
<p>As I’ve said previously, God wants Alabama to lead the nation not just alphabetically, but spiritually as well!</p>
<p>God is leading us into a Great Awakening!</p>

<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>We continue with our third week of meetings at <a href="http://beauregardchurch.org">Beauregard Revival Center</a> in Opelika, Alabama. Services are at 10am and 5pm Sunday; Monday - Wednesday at 6 pm Central time.</p>
<p>I wasn&#8217;t able to attend The Call in Montgomery, but I was able to watch most of it on God.tv&#8217;s website. What an awesome event and a defining moment for Alabama and the nation!</p>
<p>I anticipate some negative reporting to begin to come out on how this is brainwashing young people, or leading them into some hypnotic trance&#8230;.uuuuurrrrrrr!</p>
<p>But the proof is in the results; it rained more Friday night and Saturday than it has in two years in Central and East Alabama! Rain in the natural is always a sign of an open heaven and the blessings of God on a land! Drought is a sign of a closed heaven. 2Chronicles 7:13,14.</p>
<p>God&#8217;s people still have the power to turn entire nations in different directions. Our power does not come through bombs or military action; it comes from the power of repentance and seeking the face of God!</p>
<p>2Ch 7:13  If I shut up heaven that there be no rain, or if I command the locusts to devour the land, or if I send pestilence among my people;<br />
2Ch 7:14  If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.<br /><p>Technorati Tags: <a href="http://technorati.com/tag/revival" rel="tag"> revival</a>, <a href="http://technorati.com/tag/revival+update" rel="tag"> revival update</a>, <a href="http://technorati.com/tag/revival+in+Alabama" rel="tag"> revival in Alabama</a>, <a href="http://technorati.com/tag/The+Call" rel="tag"> The Call</a>, <a href="http://technorati.com/tag/repentance" rel="tag"> repentance</a>, <a href="http://technorati.com/tag/Holy+Spirit+outpouring" rel="tag"> Holy Spirit outpouring</a>, <a href="http://technorati.com/tag/God%26%238217%3Bs+plan+for+revival" rel="tag"> God&#8217;s plan for revival</a>, <a href="http://technorati.com/tag/revival+in+America" rel="tag"> revival in America</a>, <a href="http://technorati.com/tag/Christianity" rel="tag"> Christianity </a></p>

<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>We have completed our second week of revival services at <a href="http://beauregardchurch.org">Beauregard Revival Center</a> in Opelika, Alabama. I lost track of how many have been saved; but I know quite a number of backsliders have come back to the Lord, and many are reporting receiving physical healings as well!</p>
<p>I don&#8217;t think this is an accident; coinciding with <a href="http://thecall.com">The Call</a> in Montgomery on Saturday April 5th. Last year I wrote for the Alabama Assemblies of God Ministers publication that God wanted Alabama to lead the nation, not just alphabetically, but spiritually in revival as well!</p>
<p>It&#8217;s no accident that Pastor John Kilpatrick (former Pastor of the Brownsville Revival) has planted a church in Alabama that is preparing for revival in South Alabama; that Karen Wheaton has a youth revival going on every week at <a href="http://theramp.org">The Ramp</a> in Hamilton, Alabama; God IS up to something in Alabama!</p>
<p>The month of April is said to come from the Latin verb <em>aperio</em>, which signifies <em>to open</em>, because all the buds and blossoms are now opening, and we have arrived at the gates of the flowery year.</p>
<p>We are at the door. Better yet, Jesus is standing at the door and knocking.</p>
<p>I&#8217;m not waiting any longer for someone to open the door! I&#8217;m opening it to Him for me!</p>

<p>We saw God bring at least 7 backsliders back to Him just in the last couple of services; 19 people were baptized in water last night; and tonight the Presence of God hovered over the service so strong, many fell out underneath the power of His Presence!</p>
<p>This will thrill you: a woman who had a bad disc in her neck that has suffered severe pain for the last couple of years was prayer for on Friday night and was healed of the pain in her neck; several other have reported healings to us also; but most of all we are sensing a tremendous hunger and thirst for God! This seems to be more than just &#8220;good Pentecostal services&#8221;; something has been very different since the first of March in that I&#8217;m convinced God has released an unusual freedom for His people!</p>
<p>Let&#8217;s keep seeking Him! We will find Him when we seek for Him with all our heart!</p>

<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>One of the biggest problems the church faces in this hour is spiritual boredom and frustration. I realize there has been at least two generations raised on technology and an entertainment mindset. I absolutely believe we must seize every ounce of technology available to us to use for the Gospel! But at the same time, a mindset has been created in old and young alike that subconsciously says &#8220;I&#8217;ll visit with you only if you entertain me; but don&#8217;t expect me to stay too long&#8230;I need to be entertained&#8230;and if you can&#8217;t hold my attention, I&#8217;ll go somewhere they can! So we become bored. Bored with the church. Bored with prayer. Bored with God.</p>
<p>Then as boredom gains a greater foothold in our lives, spiritual frustration sets in! Frustration comes as a result of our boredom and our spiritual ADD/ADHD. And we gravitate to the next spectacular form of entertainment.</p>
<p>Friends, believers were never created for a program, an institution, or a weekly pew warming ceremony! Christians were never made to be satisfied by a three point outline (forgive me Lord for preaching three points) that contains just enough kick to get us over the hump of life.</p>
<p>The human heart was made for passion! It was created for relationship. Relationship with THE LIVING GOD! (forgive me for shouting!)</p>
<p>It was designed to experience and to live in the fullness of God!<br />
Viva Revival!</p>

<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Revival will continue through Friday night at <a href="http://beauregardchurch.org">Beauregard Revival Center</a> in Opelika, Alabama!</p>
<p>The Spirit of God has literally come in wave after wave of intensity&#8230;young and old alike have been seeking the face of God! Sunday morning the urge to seek the Lord began to come on people so strong I didn&#8217;t even get to finish my message, when people simply began to get up and come to the altar&#8230;way before the altar call was given!</p>
<p>Thank God the conviction of the Holy Spirit is still at work!</p>
<p>Please pray for us! We don&#8217;t want to miss anything God has for us in this hour!</p>
<p>Also, pray for our overseas outreaches! Pam and I both sense God is wanting to take us to even more nations, plus expand the outreaches we are already a part of. Guyana has been very heavy on my heart today! We also received some more letters in the mail today from Africa in response to our radio program on Radio East Africa, asking for prayer, teaching materials and letting us know they gave their hearts to Jesus as a result of the Radio outreach!</p>
<p>Thank you for praying for us and for all your financial support of Revival Now Ministries!</p>

<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>This past Thursday-Sunday we were with Speedwell Pentecostal Holiness Church in Speedwell Virginia with Pastor Don Byrd. Even though the attendance was not what the pastor and congregation wanted, the Presence of the Lord literally hovered over each service!</p>
<p>A friend of mind asked me sometime ago how I felt about ministering in so many small churches. While it would be a thrill to minister to large congregations every week, the truth is the vast majority of churches in America number way less than 100 in attendance.</p>
<p>It’s been said most of these churches need to be merged with other churches to create a thriving congregation. But with gas prices going through the roof, it could be some of these churches may come back in “style” by being close by in the neighborhood.</p>
<p>Yes, we need to be relevant to a generation that has not been raised in church. But the biggest key is making sure there is the flow of Living Water when people do come that meets ever need in the House!</p>
<p>Last September the University of Central Florida opened a brand new $55 million dollar football stadium. 43,000 screaming UCF fans opened the stadium on a hot September afternoon. During the game a potential tragedy developed; people began fainting, and at least twelve people had to be treated for dehydration.</p>
<p>The reason: the $55 million stadium was built with no water fountains! The University later apologized for “underestimating the need for water”!</p>
<p>In our quest build the biggest churches in town; in our pursuit of accomplishing something of worth for the Kingdom of God; in our passionate attempt to be validated by the masses of being legitimate ministers and ministries of the Gospel, let us NOT underestimate the NEED for the Living Water of God’s Presence!</p>
<p>Does your church have water?</p>

<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>We are in Ivanhoe Virginia at Ivanhoe Pentecostal Holiness Church with Pastor JC McPeek. The services have been marked again this week with an unusual freedom to preach, to pray, and to minister. I think part of it is we are in an area with no cell phone service and slow dial up internet connection…I have to drive out to the Interstate to get a cell signal and high speed internet service! It’s amazing to me you can get full service cell service in the bush in Kenya East Africa, but can’t get a quality internet connection or cell service in many parts of the U.S.!</p>
<p>Recently I was accused of being arrogant and too critical. I know I’m going to be labeled as being critical on this post, but I’m not trying to be critical, I only want God to move in America and in my life also! Everyone who really knows me knows I do not want to come across like that; but there are times in this business you have to say some things that will be construed as being arrogant and critical. But if I respect your opinion of me more than God’s opinion of me, I will lose out in the end.</p>
<p>I was watching Sponge Bob (the cartoon) recently when I kept hearing a word come up in the cartoon over and over; it was the word respect. The characters were of course attempting to teach kids to respect their parents and to respect each other.</p>
<p>Over the last several weeks as I have pondered that cartoon (amazing God can use a cartoon to speak to you!) I have begun to realize this very well may be the reason so many people are having a hard time getting close to God!</p>
<p>I don’t want to write a book on this but this is burning in my heart…the reason some can’t seem to get anything out of our church services, out of our Bible reading, out of our praying is we’ve lost respect for God, His Word and for the moving of the Holy Ghost in our lives and in our services!</p>
<p>We don’t want revival any more because we have lost respect for the moving of the Holy Ghost in our midst!</p>
<p>And then if God does happen to show up, it’s been so long since God manifested Himself (because He’s not been welcomed) people head for the doors!</p>
<p>How did we lose respect?</p>
<p>1.    We have no respect because we are not a trusting generation. We don’t respect our leaders, our president, our congressmen; we don’t respect our parents, our teachers and our preachers. It’s hard to trust people who deliberately hurt us or demand we respect them. You cannot demand respect. Respect must be earned.  We don’t trust our leaders, and then we wonder as pastors and church leaders why congregations don’t trust us!</p>
<p>2.    We try to process everything. We analyze, scrutinize, and criticize and pick apart every sermon, every song, every movement; we tear apart everything that happens in church to the point the world says, “You folks are crazy, this all is a load of garbage, I’m out of here!”</p>
<p>I’m not saying we should go back to a time when we simply allow anything and everything to go on…God is definitely a God of order! But instead of us coming together to look for Jesus to manifest Himself among us, we spend all our time looking for the faults in the preacher in the evangelist, in the singers…are we looking for Jesus to pour out His Spirit or have we bought into the cessationists lie that says you must be careful when you are asking God for something, because the devil might give you a counterfeit! We want to know the hows instead of looking to God for the outcomes!</p>
<p>We want to be seen, be praised, be popular, be right, be on top, be first…but<br />
I want to hear Him say “well done good and faithful servant!”</p>
<p>3.    We have no respect because we are a jealous generation. We are so afraid of someone being promoted before we are; being blessed before us; being recognized before we are! We are so jealous when someone who is perceived to have not “paid their dues” but they get promoted, they get healed, they get blessed, they prosper…while we are still struggling to find the key to get God’s attention!</p>
<p>We are jealous when someone preaches a better sermon…sings a better song…has a better idea…and they get people’s attention!</p>
<p>We do not respect people with different giftings than ours, nor has a different opinion than ours because we are afraid they may get more recognition than we do. Or, they may be right, and we may be wrong! They may get an open door that we feel belongs to us.</p>
<p>I wonder is anybody interested in getting God’s attention.</p>
<p>The think a major key to getting God’s attention is:</p>
<p>Respect!</p>

<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>What a weekend in Graysville, Tenessee at Unity Gospel Tabernacle! The altars were filled with people getting their hearts right with God, and with each other!</p>
<p>There was an unusual freedom to preach yesterday. There are days in which it is easy to preach. There is a flow of revelation, a flow of the Holy Spirit to deliver the Word God has burned in my heart. Then there are those days in which you think about just getting a real job and forgetting about it!</p>
<p>But then there are those days in which there is an unusual freedom. Thank God for the unusual freedom. The unusual freedom to preach, to pray, to prophecy, to worship, to get right with God and to get closer to God!</p>
<p>Father in heaven, continue to release an unusual freedom for people to find You and find their place in You and Your Body!</p>
<p>For anyone in the SE Tennessee area, we would love to have you join us nightly through Wednesday night. For information and directions contact Pastor Russ Hillian at 423-332-0402.</p>

<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>28 years ago today (exactly) I took Pamela Doss to me my wife.</p>
<p>Two daughters, two sons-in-law, and three grandchildren later, I can honestly say, I cannot picture my life without Pam by my side.</p>
<p>With all the divorces and sexual atrocities being flippantly committed by ministers these days, I&#8217;m very glad God has made Pam and I a good statistic! In the mid 80&#8217;s we had separated and filed for divorce; in fact we were just $100.00 away from the divorce being final, BUT GOD stepped and in restored our marriage! And I can honestly say, it&#8217;s better today than it was 28 years ago!</p>
<p>So to my very best friend, I say Happy Anniversary!</p>

<p>Last week received three letters from listeners to our Revival Today program on Radio East Africa that covers the entire eastern part of the African continent. All three corresponded that they had received Jesus as a result of the broadcast! Thank God for an opportunity to declare the Love of God in these days of turmoil and strife!</p>
<p>For all our friends and partners in the southeastern Tennessee area we will be in Graysville Tennessee at <a href="http://unitygospel.net">Unity Gospel Tabernacle</a> beginning Sunday morning. For more information and directions contact Pastor Russ Hillian and 423-332-0402.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>God is GREAT!!!!</p>
<p>Our February Guyana trip is now in the books.  Due to our grandbaby dedication in DC I was only able to make the last half of the trip. We arrived in Mabaruma on Wednesday and traveled to Wauna where my father in law and I prepared the mission quarters for the rest of the team.</p>
<p>Ministry was conducted in various villages around the Wauna area, sending teams into the villages to conduct men women and children’s ministry during the day and revival services at night. We were also able to build a house for Pastor Nevil, a blind pastor in Poon Creek we built a church building for last year. This man has pioneered at least 4 other churches in the creeks and rivers in the Northwest interior…all while never seeing a day in his life!</p>
<p>I refuse to listen to anyone complain to me about not having anything to do for God! If a blind man can follow the leading of the Lord and plant 4 or 5 churches having to paddle to them in a canoe, we can do what God has called us to do! Especially with the technological advances we have here in the U.S.!</p>
<p>Many were delivered from demons, set free by the mighty power of God! I’m glad we serve a living God, not a dead God! And He still demonstrates His love and power to those who believe!</p>
<p>For information on how you can be a part of a Revival Now Outreach, send a email to <script type="text/javascript"><!--
	sto_dom='revivalnow.org'
	sto_user='david'
	document.write('<a href="mailto:' + sto_user + '@' +sto_dom + '" >david</a>')
//--></script><noscript><a  href="http://www.somethinkodd.com/emailshroud/emailaddress.php?domainName=revivalnow.org&amp;userName=david" >david</a></noscript></p>
<p>Thanks to everyone who covered us in prayer during these last couple of weeks. God has helped us to feel your intercession!</p>

<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>We wrapped up our week of meetings in New Brockton, Alabama at <a href="http://freedomassembly.com">Freedom in Christ Assembly</a> with Pastors Allen and Wendy Burnett with the rain of the Holy Ghost coming down in buckets!</p>
<p>New Brockton Alabama is a significant landmark in the Pentecostal movement; it is believed to be the birthplace of the Pentecostal outpouring in Alabama; and it is the birthplace of Southeastern Bible College, which is now Southeastern University, now located in Lakeland, Florida.</p>
<p>Part of the ministry God has called Pam and I to is the re-digging  of the ancient wells of living water our forefathers dug. We are not trying to recapture some old glory that has served it&#8217;s purpose; but God IS calling us to recapture the Glory of His Presence, the Glory of His Love, and the Glory of His demonstrative Power this generation is so desperate to see.</p>
<p>Each service was marked by a distinct increase in the anointing. People were sincerely seeking God; other churches from the area came together for the meetings; and Wednesday night the Love of God so overwhelmed us, His presence just came in waves and waves and waves! Not some silly &#8220;feeling that makes you want to sit in a circle and sing Kumbaya&#8230;but a knowing that HE IS HERE!</p>
<p>And again, it was in response to people&#8217;s hunger for His Presence!</p>
<p>Are You Hungry?</p>

<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>This has been a very busy weekend for us as we get ready for our next Guyana trip coming up February 12-18.</p>
<p>Friday and Saturday night we were with New Beginnings Assembly in Eufaula, Alabama. The church has been hit in the gut by satan, but the Glory of the Lord visited with us both nights.</p>
<p>Sunday morning we were with Cross Connection Church in Auburn with Pastors Jon and Vanessa Russell. This is a church plant barely two years old, but they are already making an impact with revival in the Auburn/Opelika area. At least one person was saved and many others in the altar seeking God to take up the mantle God was laying at their feet!</p>
<p>Sunday night we moved again, to Freedom In Christ Assembly in New Brockton, Alabama. New Brockton is the birthplace of the Pentecostal movement in Alabama. The Holy Spirit seemed to hover over the service, with waves of His love ministering to people as they lingered in the altars.</p>
<p>Everything we have seen God do in churches since the beginning of the year have been the result of one key: people&#8217;s hunger for God!</p>
<p>A friend of mine Durran Sherrer testified last night about a man named Dan Dubose who was mightily used by God in the early days of revival in Alabama. As he was laying on his death bed, someone asked him was there anything they could get him to make him more comfortable. His reply was, &#8220;can you get me a little more of Jesus!&#8221;</p>
<p>This was from a man who had preached almost his whole life; loved God and lived for God faithfully till his dying hour. And one of his last requests was, can you get me a little more of Jesus!</p>
<p>God give all of us that hunger for a little more of Jesus!</p>
<p>And may we be willing to give Jesus a little more of us!!!! </p>
<p> </p>

<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Another great weekend at New Life Beginnings Church in Pattison. The Spirit of God moved mightily in both the Saturday night and Sunday Services.</p>
<p>I ministered on Psalms 8 Saturday night. Last weekend as my flight had been canceled, as I was standing watching the conveyor belt go around and around, the Spirit of God spoke to me and said, &#8220;with the dominion I am releasing I am also releasing a greater anointing of the prophet, priest and king!&#8221;</p>
<p>The prophet or prophetic anointing for those who can&#8217;t quite stomach a prophet, come from God with a word to minister to people. The priest anointing ministers to God FOR the people.</p>
<p>The king anointing in our culture is an anointing for the market place! An Anointing to stand in the political arena, the judicial arena. It is anointing to start and run businesses that will provide jobs and resources for the people of the Kingdom!</p>
<p>I&#8217;m think the reason so many men (and women) get frustrated is they get saved, get on fire for God and we instantly try to make pastors an preachers out of men who are anointined to stand in the priestly office, they are anointed for the business world!</p>
<p>I realize the prosperity message has been out of balance in the US church in the last 30 years. But without God giving His people some prosperity, we will not be able to finish the jobs we have to do for His Kingdom!<br />
When prosperity seizes you instead of you seizing prosperity, then you are out of balance. Prosperity is not about cars and rings and material wealth in banks rotting away, it about having provision to live and sustain others in times of famine!<br />
Let the Dominion of God come!</p>

2. Stop talking about hell.<br />
3. Don’t mention repentance.<br />
4. Grow some slick hair.<br />
5. Write a book about prosperity.<br />
6. Write a book about being the best you can be.<br />
7. Never be seen in public helping the needy or preaching the Gospel to the homeless.<br />
8. Wear a three piece suit when you preach.<br />
9. Trade your Dickies, Doc Martins and Levis in for Dockers and Armani.<br />
10. Focus on numbers.<br />
11. Stop worrying about the hard truths and souls.<br />
12. Remember, if it takes a circus to get them in the door - it will take a more outrageous circus week after week to get them to stay.<br />
I have been pondering a question the Holy Spirit asked me one night on the way to a revival service that I pose to all of us: &#8220;Have people become so entertainment driven that the preaching of the Gospel has become nothing more than another form of entertainment?</p>
<p>Your thoughts?</p>

<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Several months ago I posted on this subject. Today I revised some of what I wrote back in the summer. I added a couple of thoughts that are on my mind&#8230;</p>
<p>We desperately need the flow of God&#8217;s river in our lives!</p>
<p>Psa 46:4  [There is] a river, the streams whereof shall make glad the city of God, the holy [place] of the tabernacles of the most High.<br />
Psa 46:5  God [is] in the midst of her; she shall not be moved: God shall help her, [and that] right early.</p>
<p>There is a river…we all know rivers in the natural are fed by smaller creeks and streams that over a period a time and miles causes it to grow into a larger river.</p>
<p>But this scripture tell us there is a river that moves in the opposite way: this river flows and the flow of this River feeds smaller streams into the city of God!</p>
<p>We know this is a prophetic passage pointing us to the New Jerusalem and the river of life that flows through it even now as we speak: but this also is applicable for this hour!</p>
<p>There is a river! The river of the Holy Spirit&#8230;all His gifts and His abilities…now flows for all mankind! And out of that river is smaller streams; the stream of salvation, the stream of grace and mercy; the stream of joy, the stream of deliverance, the stream of healing!</p>
<p>There is also the repentance stream, the prophetic stream, the emergent stream, the faith stream, the evangelistic stream, the outreach stream….all these, if they are attached to the main river are all viable streams of the Spirit that God intends to service or minister to the Body of Christ! We need all the streams that flow from the river of God to meet the needs of people. We will never impact society simple arguing over semantics and minor doctrinal issues that minister questions in people’s minds more than Godly edifying which is in faith!</p>
<p>There are people who absolutely believe if you are not a full time pastor or a full time foreign missionary, you are not a legitimate minister! I even had one minister send me word through the grapevine (go figure) that evangelists were simple cowards; too chicken to tough it out as a pastor.</p>
<p>The key thought here is staying connected to the main River!</p>
<p>Some of the circles of evangelists I have run with in the past are convinced the only way a church or ministry is viable and anointed is if they are constantly doing outreaches; other ministries I have been acquainted with think the only true ministry is youth and children’s ministry. Still others feel if you are not moving in the prophetic or healing flow, you are not legitimately touching your city. Others feel like the repentance message (or stream) is the only true word and ministry needed in the church at this hour.</p>
<p>Who’s right? If your ministry comes from and is anointed and ordained by God and is attached to the flow of the Holy Spirit, you are a legitimate ministry! The flow that is moving through your life and ministry is not meant to make you famous or get you on TBN, or get you recognized with your denominational hierarchy, it is meant to meet the needs of people you come in contact with and minister to! Again, the key point is: it must be connected to and flow from the River of God!</p>
<p>I guess I write this as one who is just now after 30 years of preaching the Gospel finding where he fits in! I’m not saying this out of pity or needing validation from anyone! All I know, there is a stream of the Holy Spirit running through my life and through your life! And I have come to accept the stream in me will be accepted by some and rejected by others! Don’t be distracted or discouraged if the stream of God doesn’t look like someone else’s stream! If the stream that is running through your church now doesn’t look like the churches down the street, rejoice! Be happy that God has called you to be different!</p>
<p>My heart cries for a maturity to come to the leadership of churches and for denominations; a maturity that will allow them to be able to embrace different streams of the Holy Spirit and allow them to flow through their local congregations…</p>
<p>And my heart cries for a maturity to come to those whose stream of the Holy Ghost is different…that they will not be haughty…nor offended if their stream is not embraced and accepted just yet…but they will learn that all our streams must flow under the leadership of the pastoral gift/office in whatever local house we are in!</p>
<p>There is a River… and all its streams…make glad…the city of our God!</p>
<p>Let the river flow!!!!!</p>

<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Magnolia Assembly of God In Grove Hill, Alabama is definitely in revival! The Holy Spirit continues to brood over the services with such intensity  I thought we might be raptured out tonight!</p>
<p>Sunday night many were filled with the Spirit without having to be coached&#8230;He just showed up and they began to speak in other tongues as the Spirit gave the utterance!</p>
<p>There is a pressure in some Pentecostal churches to move away from people being filled with the Spirit, and some who argue that tongues is not, or should not be sought for as being the initial physical evidence of the Holy Spirit&#8217;s Baptism. I will leave all that argument to others who may be smarter than I am. But when people walk up to an altar and without anyone laying hands on them and they begin to speak in tongues&#8230;I&#8217;ll let God be the judge of it all! All I know, when it happened to me, I wasn&#8217;t seeking tongues, I was seeking HIM and HE showed up!</p>
<p>Father, show up in more places&#8230;quickly!</p>

<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>We began 2008 with our friends at <a href="http://newlifewc-ag.com">New Life Worship Center in Samson, Alabama</a>. The Spirit of God moved powerfully in both services, with people filling the altar crying out to God for <strong>souls</strong> and for a fresh touch of His Power!</p>
<p>In my prayer time this morning, I felt a brokeness and a desparation in me that I&#8217;ve not sensed in a while. Not that I haven&#8217;t been broken over the condition of the church, our nation and our families; I have been broken by it all! But I also have this part of my heart that is erupting in anguish over the fact that I don&#8217;t think some of us are getting it! This thing we call church is NOT about us, it&#8217;s not about our denomination, it really is about His Kingdom, His Glory and His dominion coming to this earth, like it is in Heaven!</p>
<p>I am really at the end of myself! No. I&#8217;m not suicidal, I&#8217;m not depressed; my heart is simply broken by the lostness of humanity and the realization that we are not going to reach a dying world with a new gimick from our popular magazines or some conference somewhere that is only another con game to make certain few preachers look like they have all the answers to how we can grow our churches!</p>
<p>May God once again set us on fire with Holy Ghost Fire&#8230;and people will come and watch us burn!!!</p>
<p> </p>
